Beautiful!! This made me think of when I will become old. I want to be a grandmother who is active and fit. Thank you so much for expressing yourself through this poem. I am sure there is a bliss that is only felt when one is old. Have a lovely day!

Thanks Nikki, I need to get back to poems I always have one in my head about something or other. Trying to get my Biography finished with Editing so I can get some of my other stuff promoted especially for all my new friends. Hopefully getting Chapter 32 up later today of the biography. I think you have read 29, 30 and 31 already. Lord Bless.

That is so true. Out of sight out of mind I have found this to me a real example of people. Step out of their view for five minutes and they forget your name, phone number, email address. Sincerely Anne

Thanks mate. Appreciate your kind words. We recently had a combined 30th Anniversary and both our birthdays celebrated but we only had a cake made because Louise's Mum insisted on it...sh paid anyway...Louise dad was not impressed...Accountant- tight it was $AUD60.00 to share with guests.

Cleverly done, with great rhyme. My father-in-law never let anyone forget about his trips. He was always showing slides of places he's been. You have your pictures, so the pleasant memories from the past shouldn't be lost. You're been fortunate to be able to share your trips and memories. judi

I can relate to this one but the biggest person guilty of forgetting these special days is me. My memory isn't as good as it once was and my birthday is so close to Christmas, I often forget about it until a week or too later. Very clever poem and nicely done.

Ha I can see how they could do that. But I am sure next year you will be remembered. And yes as life drags on those days of long ago can begin to slip and become hazy memories. But thankfully most of the feelings and emotions of all the years spent together remain.

Yeah well there are some Revive Certificates still going as I did edit most of them. One of my fans only just figured out how to use the Revive Certificate reviews I have put up again. Thanks mate. Sorry this one was a cheapie. Might start doing some of these as I can ha.
