I really liked this poem about good versus evil, a memorable little tale well told. The use of 'consoled' in the first stanza shows the theme of upliftment, and 'sadness and joy' shows cheer to weary hearts. Spot on theme. All the very best wishes for the contest.

Hi, I love the feel if this poem, I imagine its a native American talking to his son, I love the simplicity of the tale, the son has to work the answer out for himself. Powerful! Enjoyed. MaggieF
