I do think someone has fallen down on the job. Used to blame parents. Now we can blame the teachers. Something's really wrong here.
Perhaps he'll only "fire teachers (who) help breed (such) intolerance???

That's what I mean really, I am not a citizen of America, I am from the Philippines but I love your country. But the Universities in your country are turning to be encampments of radical lefties, violent agitators who cannot tolerate other's opinion except theirs,. and the radical, liberal professors tolerate, breed and encourage them. I love your president and my daughter who is a nurse in Nevada and is already an American citizen of your country voted for Trump.

Makes it hard to speak your opinion when you figure you'll only get shouted down, not reasoned with. Perhaps that's why he got elected? All those who didn't want to argue, just voted!

I am on the side of your President even if I am not a citizen of your country. He will make America safe, not the regressive Leftist professors in your universities that turn their students into intolerant Commies who shut up anyone whose views are against theirs. They burn, break windows and pepper spray anyone who don't fit their narrative. that's real intolerance.

Am I correct to assume that you do not live in the US? Have you lived here, or studied in our universities? I understand many college professors can be egotistical pains. And if a university president is like that, well, like attracts like. But the teachers and professors I know (mostly small community colleges) are just interested in helping their students learn and pass the grade. If you had a bad experience here, I'm sorry. Calling people commies sounds like Fox alt.news garbage. And communists are few here since persecution under McCarthy in the 1950s. Police pepper spray protesters, and I'll guarantee you the majority of them voted for Trump, as did every racist in the country. But, we are always in God's hands. So I will trust him and not my own understandings. All the best.

Oh my! Did you have a bad experience with teachers? As a Christian and a teacher, I do pray for my students (not in class). But I do understand that children can be easily influenced. I do think the general culture and media have been more of the influence.

An interesting take on the current situation.
The poem works quite well, however just one small change would I think have made it a bit more logical - instead of "help breed" perhaps educate would work better, or help teach.
Just my feeling on reading that line.
But hey - all in all, I thought it was really good.

Very forthcoming in your views. I am not aware of teachers who breed intolerant, aggressive Lefties or Righties. Values come from the home environment much more than from outside influences. You stated your view well within the confines of the contest. I hope your opinion is not a popular one.
