Hello, my friend,

You did a fine job with your 1/6/1, your syllable count is right on the money. The presentation is lovely and the subject matter of voting is the right thing to do. I am still in shock. It was the worse day I had in a long time. God save us all.

Good job!

Doggone it!
I wish you woulda let me know sooner that some...thing?...was running for Prez besides Donald--The Big Mouth--Trump, or Hillary--I Cannot Tell a Lie--Clinton, because now I am afraid it's too late.
See, I already voted for my dog, Gidget.
She's a female Chihuahua, and while she might be "just" a dog, I'm quite sure she's a helluva lot smarter than either of the two dogs we have running now.
Given her breed, Chihuahua, she's a shoo-in to get the majority of the Hispanic votes, and because she's a girl, she'll win the hearts, minds and votes of most of the ladies as well.
So, I'm sorry, Mr. Goat, but I can't help you out this election.
I hope you kick Hillary's and Donald's can, however.
Best of luck in the contest too!

Ah ... Gidget Goes Hawaii - Gidget goes to the White House. Muy bonita perro. And se habla espanol - will definitely get the Hispanic vote. If we'd known earlier, we could have mustered a large write-in vote for Gidget. Our country deserves an honest, trustworthy, loyal, friendly, courteous and kind candidate like Gidget.

Well, today is voting day. I voted early, last week - and live in a red state. The results will be interesting, to say the least and perhaps 40% of the country will be unhappy, perhaps livid, with the outcome. I doubt opposing forces will ever be willing to hug-it-out.

Thanks for the review. Love the picture of Gidget. No matter how this thing turns out, be sure to give Gidget a treat.
    Cheers ... ;o)

Will do, and I voted early too.
I'm just gonna keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best until this is all over with.

    You are very welcome.

Today is voting day. That's good that you're going to exercise your right to vote. If we lose that, we're in big trouble. I wish there was a way to be sure these newfangled electronic voting machines wouldn't be hacked and millions of votes switched from one side to another. Appreciate your comments. Cheers ... ;o)

Hi
This is a timely 1-6-1 poem with the voting going on. I do believe it is quite clear who the goat is.
Good luck in the contest. Mary

Thanks. Today is voting day. It will be interesting to see the results. The odds are that no matter who wins, 40% of the country will be unhappy and it's unlikely opposing forces will be willing to hug-it-out. Appreciate your comments.

Hilary still has the lead by the polls, but one can never tell until the final vote.

Short, sharp, and extremely relevant to the present temperament of USA. Although I am one of the sideline observers n UK, I'd say the interest created in the impending vote 'over the puddle', is one that will keep the local newspapers selling strongly.
Good luck in the contest.

Thanks! Official voting day over here is tomorrow, although 42 million people have already voted ( I voted early). There is a strong interest in this election as our nation is splintered and one side truly hates the other. That does make everyone take notice of the news and events of the day. Even after the election, both sides will never 'hug-it-out'. So, the drama will continue and the news will continue to get high ratings for quite a while.

Appreciate your comments. Cheers ... ;o)

This is good entry for the contest
with exact syllables at 1-6-1
and the three required rhymes
Excellent message
Complain all you want, before and after,
but the key is to vote
Excellent art work to match
Well done
Good luck in the contest

-Good image for your entry.
-Format is good.
-Rhyme is effective, as well as
the choice of one syllable words.
-Good message in line two;
I think it ties in to your comment
about the right to complain;
but more importantly, it is
everyone's right and should be
used, otherwise, you don't know
what you will get--the goat?!
-Good luck in the contest.

Whichever goat wins, you'll have the right to complain. If you don't vote, then you're the goat, I guess. Thanks for the wonderful review. Glad you liked the word choices and rhyming. Appreciate all your comments. Cheers ... ;o)

A very well-written 1-6-1 poem. Many people feel there is no point in voting and that it all is just a scam. There are only a few rich guys at the top who decide who will be their puppet.

Thanks. Glad you liked this 1-6-1. I'm sure you're right that many won't vote, and perhaps the system is rigged. Being forced to be the puppet of a government marionette isn't a pleasant thought. How much freedom do we really have in today's society? Appreciate your comments. Cheers ... :o)

This # has got to be ( given the OLD Goat simile)
the very epitome of simplicity, which maybe a true reflection of the problem
we have with campaigns of free choice

Thanks. How much free choice do we have in today's society? We have the freedom to vote and whichever goat wins, we can still complain and hope we aren't forced to become puppets of the government marionettes. If we don't vote, perhaps we become the goat. Ir's a political conundrum we live in. Appreciate the comments and the OLD Goat smile. Cheers ... ;o)
