As always, you educate me, Tom - I learned a lot of new words today!
Love chiaras ... thingummybob-thingy . :)
A delightful piece. Yes, I did get the sense of pondering wonder as I read.
My favourite line ... Scenery made, for artists. It's a great stanza-clincher.
Well done, friend (as always).
Have a wonderful week. Hope your daughter's doing better.

I did so enjoy the poem Tom. I had to do the song in my head because my computer just will not do sound. The poem paints a pretty picture in each situation. Thank you for sharing your notes with us, no pun intended. Nancy

Comment from Pantygynt
I could read this with the strains of the sound of silence ringing in my ears. It brought a wry smile to my lips because graphic art was not one of the skills my father handed down to me at least not when colour is involved. I am better off sticking to poetry, there was a short while in the eighties when I tried but the work is entirely devoid of talent. i know my limitatrions. A fine lyric on a beautiful situation.

Hi, Treischel,
"Scenery Made for Artist" is an exceptional poem fully deserving six beautiful brilliant stars. It is a feat few would try; to translate visual art into poetry or vice versa. In my opinion you have achieved this well. I appreciate the art appreciation lesson. Lack of this has been a failing of my education. It was necessary to understand your poem.
Your friend and colleague,
Preston

Thank you Preston, for this review, as well as the stars. Here the Art lesson was free too. I am pleased that you enjoyed it. I wish the image on the poem had come out as clear as my actual photo. It is a bit bleary here.
Comment from Hayley Solomon
Lovely. I sang it to myself with sounds of silence in my head and it was
marvellous Liked all the painters turns and the unique, imaginative manner of discoursing on art.

This one is not a continuation of your butterfly theme, but it has a very appealing theme. I do hope you put the image on canvas, and thanks for the summary of Art 101. I enjoyed your lyrical stanzas and mixed meter, along with your rhymes and repeats that add to the intensity of the scene. More cheers- Joan

Beautiful poem with beautiful sight! How majestic the work of God! He lays out the perfect picture and it is taken to brush and word. How beautiful the natural is! Nothing in the picture to flatter it or make it unique. It has all the glory just as is! You done a terrific job with word and camera!
