I must confess to you that writing is emotional for me. I have no idea why my writing is more emotional than most other areas of my life. As you may guess, Brelynn is more emotional to me than most of my writings! So it?s with a special sense of appreciation that I thank you for your wonderful five star review. This is a lovely, true to life poem. It is always a lovely experience when a new baby is due to arrive. I sincerely hope this little one will be fine. It was an enjoyable read with a nice rhyme

When they knew there babe was in route ... did you mean 'en route'?
It may be good to make an author note that in US English 'route' rhymes with shout. In British/Canadian/ Australian, 'route' is pronounced 'root'.
This way, you protect yourself from unnecessary critical brickbats!

You are very welcome Dr. Nad; I am a self taught poet, please read my bio. It will shine a little insight about me; I?m 57 and just started teaching myself grammar and punctuation; I taught my self to read on a dare when I was 16 years old. Now I just love words. On word can make or break a person if manipulated right. I think it?s the manipulation I enjoy most, but I don?t know for sure; all I know is I love words and poetry is a great way to release. 1st best of luck for you and the baby. This was a touching and tender poem about the anticipation of the arrival and the faith and hardships too. I had no issues at all with the flow.

The underlying excitement is palpable - and the use of bold font
did indeed improve finding the flow (just for kicks I copied
and pasted it to a blank sheet, then removed all the bold words - it
flows so much more naturally with the author directing the read :-)
