I couldn't find a thing I didn't love about this Octogram. It speaks to the heart, has a well-defined point and fits the form perfectly. The repeating line seemed especially well-chosen to me. It defines the theme of the poem, and in each instance, fit so perfectly in its place. I was quite blown away with this beautiful poem.

Gee, a bunch of us fall into this category. I think as artists we like that peace so we can do what we do. I loved your octogram and added it to our list. Did I review it or just read it and add it to the list? I'm so lame. Jeesh. Let me know. Thanks for the awesome review. mikey

Oh dear, here we go again - I am now REALLY confused! I posted two octograms yesterday and was corrected on my rhyme scheme, which you seem to have repeated! Here is what I was told is the correct scheme (the one Sally intended):
Rhyme scheme: aBabccbB ababddbB
There are 4 "a" rhymes in lines 1, 3, 9, and 10.
There are 6 "b" rhymes in lines B2, b4, b7, B8, b10, b12, b15, and B16.
There are 2 "c" rhymes in lines 5 and 6.
There are 2 "d" rhymes in lines 13, and 14.
The capital B indicates an exact repeating line as found in lines 2,8, and 16.
But I'll tell you the same thing I just told Dean - call it modified and it's great! LOL.

I'm pretty sure I have it right. I always have the form sitting above it going back and forth. It is a complicated thing though. I've been off half the time and still had a decent poem anyway. LOL. mikey

Wow. What a wonderful review, Jenna. I'm seeing to it we keep you for sure. LOL We do have a rule which you wouldn't know about so no worries THIS time, especially since I'm benefiting. But, we've all agreed not to give sixes to each other. We don't want anyone feeling left out or favored or all of us running out by Saturday night. LOL Like a said, no way you could've known and I'm delighted. So no worries. I would've given you one if I could've. Thanks so much. I'm so pleased you liked this.
