I've seen this happen in so many Christian films. Always tear-jerkers. I like the reference to Communion as well as the use of green since that symbolizes hope too as in spring.

Great poem, I really like it especially the way rhymes flow makes me want to sing along with it. May God always lights up us with his hope especially when we need it the most. Good luck on your future works hope to read more from you

An emotive rendition of loss, pain and suffering and when all is lost, the only one left is HOPE. Yes, when one reaches the edge, the only last straw to cling on to is Hope in God for only He can pull us through and He will not let us suffer beyond what we can bear.
