Yes - an interesting observation in the final paragraph 'no inventions , only discoveries ' and the opening statement is equally pertinent - in our times we can be so blase about these major discoveries taking place around us. Understanding what is happening is vital. Wish I had 6 left.

Wow, your story is rich in research. I like the way you began with the abacus, which few think about when thinking about computers. Some do talk about humans, or animals in general, as computers of a sort, but you certainly took it to a new level. Artificial intelligence is certainly explored here in many ways.

Thanks for taking the time to share your research and thoughts,
Rhonda

If I could've read the poem, I may have actually loved it, but I was unable to read the cursive font chosen! The font is way to small and is almost illegible.

Thank you for sharing and let me know if you change the font because I will read it and update my review and star rating!

May God bless you and your family;-)

Intelligently thought of and expressed. I would agree on most of what you say but question your insistence that Utopia is achievable or even ultimately desirable. Until the ego is completely transcended we will never achieve a Utopia on Earth The viewpoint of the ego is limited unless completely transcended. Ultimate Enlightenment should be the goal. Buddhism has many branches and conflicting viewpoints. Who is your Master? Do you think that you need one?

Once transcended, Infinity and Eternity unite in the HERE and NOW. We have eternity to modify our self-created universe. Thanks for the great review....John

Once transcended that is...it may take an Eternity. Agree heartily with your first sentence. But what about this "self-created" business?
reply by the author on 31-Mar-2020
Our universe is the view we discern when looking in the mirror of our mind. We "con-template" our understanding of our experience.

Pretty hip John. I take it that you are your own master. It's great writing though--no doubt.

Wow! just Wow! I can't yet begin to describe how much I have been affected by reading this-you have hit so many nerves, while making so much sense, and I know I will re-read this many times over. Your presentation is simple and so direct, yet you provoke both emotion and understanding at the same time. This "container" will definitely look for more from you! Very enjoyable!

All the Best!

Phil

Your perspective is spot on! A machine of any kind is only "intelligent" because it has been manipulated with information by a human. Many of your observations reflect how we all have forgotten who we really are, but there is hope that the simplicity in remembering is all about removing the trash we have been fedð?¥°

Hi there, It's a very interesting piece and analysis of our mind and what to do with it. But I think there is a danger in all this. If you favour that we give up our individuality and our beliefs to become a uniform mass, I totally disagree with you. It's a very dangerous path to go down. A path that has been tried and been defeated, thank God. And I'm not religious. All best. Ulla:)))

I think its a well written essay, and that makes it even more scary. Do you know who you sound like? The Nazis. All this description of human experience in machine like terms is frightening. Also, what kind of an idea is the elimination of religion, and the declaration that Earth is our mother? Where is freedom in all of this? The building of Utopia sounds great; but not at the cost of human emotions and the creation of a robot society dependent on dictatorship. Why should hard working people who worked hard to build their own companies give more than half of what they earned to support lazy bums who don't want to work? What you sow, you reap. The destruction of individual cultures in favor a globalized common denominator I can't support. estory

Very well written. For a technically based work, it's surprisingly easy to follow! I have some background in IT, so that may color my opinion here, but I followed it easily. Loved the Seven Detours - construction zones on our path to enlightenment. Nicely said. Altogether very readable and effective.

Hello Cogitator,
It's a nice piece of Commentary and Philosophy Non-Fiction beautifully depicting its theme.
Artificial Intelligence,, Ignorance, Self-made prisons, Mature Humans, Positive and Negative Traits of humans, and how we can live in concert with mother Earth are transparently described.
Smooth and captivating flow throughout from the beginning to the end.
Educative as well as Interesting.
A little long, but LAUDABLE ATTEMPT INDEED!
