I knew who made the artwork, it complements your poem very well. A friend gets in between a relationship. Not nice if this happens to you. You cried. I understand.

Hi TPAC:

My best suggestion is that you take these lines of prose you've written in proper and complete sentences and go back to form them into an entry that will comply with the rules. I'm afraid, as written, that you will likely be disqualified. The rules state:

Please write a rhymed poem personifying poetry. In other words, refer to poetry as if he/she is a person.

I am sure the CEC will be monitoring and looking for a structured, rhymed style of poem. I'll be happy to have another look if you change your entry, just drop me a note.

Good shout! I do have my issues with these contests. I fear in my rush one key element missed in the thought of my poetry as she. Thanking you for your proper accessment of rules and generous rate. I will revise to attempt those requirements.
