One thing (among many) that I admire about your writings is the way you bring life to your characters by their physical gestures and non verbal but guttural "utterances". This one line: "I traced circles on the tabletop and waited until it seemed right to speak. "Pondria remembers it as it happened to another." Made me stop and think, what a unique perspective and possibly profound enough to be embraced if forgiveness seems impossible for some. Loren

Splendid chapter, Jay. You worked this two together and now who is captor and who is prisoner?
I am down right anxious to see what happens next, sir.
You love to draw out the drama :)
Always,
Missy

Hey, Missy. So happy you enjoyed this. Still can't find the Face Book thing.
-
You found it :) Look up and see red dot on messages and u find mine :)
-
I couldn't find messages or a red dot, Missy. I did find where you were culling your friends and I left a message there, thanking you for leaving me aboard. I hates rejection.
-
You never have to worry about rejection :)

Chapter 25 of the book THE TRINING Book Three
Is Doctrex Playing Pondria, or Pondria Playing Doctrex?
"Sunset of Doctrex, Dawn of Pondria?" This is a masterpiece you have created here, Jay. I like its strength and its depth. You are indeed a damned good writer. Very well done.

Propelled by a rush of insuppressible sobs, his shoulders heaved, then collapsed in a stutter of jerks, and heaved again.

I am SO glad you're back to writing again. I hope you are medically in good shape. We love you here, Debbie and want only the best for you. Thanks so much for the six star rating on this.

Great job with the continuation of your story line as the two carry on an intense conversation. I could fill Doctrex's tension when deciding when he should speak and also the emotional toll it was taking on Ginot. Also, it was engaging when Doctrex was unsure of who he even was. Good stuff, Jay, as always. 8-)

This was a very complex chapter, yet, strangely it rolled off the keyboard. I had very few stops on it. It's odd.

This one is very good, Jay.The depth of emotion you have achieved is outstanding. I was right there in the room, gripped by the tension between them and feeling their hands, Giddy

I can't tell if I'm being fooled by Doctrex into believing he is Pondra just as he may be fooling Glnot.
Whatever is going on is quite a scheme.
I'm sure I'll understand it soon.

Don't forget, Doctrex has to think on his feet to keep his head on his shoulders. So happy you're reading this. I have a lot of respect for your skills as a writer.

Thank you for the summaries, Jay. It's been so long since I read your work, but it's easy to get back into the story, even without the summaries. I like your fast-paced style, and deep POV.

Thank you for coming back, Aiona. I really appreciate that. Can I book you a seat on the rest of the journey?
-
Certainly! Am I not already subscribed to you? If not, I will correct that right now.

I liked this piece of writing, it had a good flow to it and was an easy read. The topic of magic and fantasy is always fun, and I'm a fond fan of reading about "seers", as I often have a way with things like that myself, I'm usually clairvoyant about many things in my life. Nice job!

My head continues to spin. He's Doctrex, but he might not be Doctrex. This is what his lover/wife name him.
Things are complicated and my head hurts from thinking too much.
Personally, I'm looking forward to reading more of what the red-haired rocker did back in his youth!
One suggestion:
"I know brother."
"I know[,] brother."

Nicole, this is really a tough one to get into the middle of without your head spinning. The red-haired rocker was a blond.

No, I saw his ginger sprouts.
