Yes well friend the toaster we had bought was SO LARGE and it had all the trimmings of a Rolls Royce. I should have taken a photo of it before we returned it. Would not fit in the cupboard, that was why we returned it. I wanted to ask if I may use your poem about the druggies some place else with full accreditation to yourself? Are you on Face book? That is where I found FS originally. Cheers.

Funny piece.
Laughed at the confusion just the size of a toaster throws into ones life.
I did the same with a coffee pot. Bigger, more expensive, makes same coffee.

Hi new friend thanks for this. Sorry no rewards left on it. If you are interested I am giving my wife's book about our Trips around Australia a last run before we close her FS account. We are both disabled folks so trips were a particular effort for us most of the time. Check out Tootsie55 account and look for Our Trips book. Nice meeting you will get around your stuff a bit more later. I have some stupid poems in a book on here in a "Book of Poultry" My own Christmas Carols in "Really Truly Christmas Carols" Book and one other book I have is Geoffrey's Musings more serious poems and essays and rants etc about different things. Yeah you did. There's the old it's its thing. I guess if I wrote it's I was claiming possessive case for the element belonging to the toaster hehe.

Thanks new friend. Appreciate the support. Still working on my autobiography hoping to get it out for a Revive Certificate review in a bit. Been adding more pictures now I figured out how to do it without upsetting Tom hehe. Check out The Little Dog That Wouldn't let go. I have some weird poems and songs and stuff around as well. My Book of Poultry and so on. Even some Christian Christmas Carols I wrote and I mention them in one of the chapters of my book. All unpublished as yet.

LOL. I am so great with mechanical things that I find toasters challenging. I loved reading your very short essay. I hate it when things don't work. I never know what's wrong with them.

Thanks Barbara appreciate you coming by. I was just glad it did not throw the circuit board when the little element broke inside. we hare having Grilled hehe toast or Crumpet this morning. Getting the new toaster tomorrow. Already had the refund for the "4 lane Highway" hehe. I guess we are up for some more Sunny Story soon?

Now there's an idea. Well I got the refund this morning. Will get another more fitting one on Monday. We had no more room for idle toasters on the bench here. Thanks for coming by. How are the Ghosts in Colorado going?

I agree, Sanky. Those huge four-slice toasters are way too big and unless you have a big family aren't really necessary.
A big family can always toast using the broiler. That's what Mom did long before the monster toasters were invented.

This is an interesting post that the author has created with this piece of writing. My toaster is behaving itself nicely, but my kettle, vacuum cleaner and iron all gave me hell. I replaced them and although they didn't end up on a highway, they ended up in a bin along the pavement. LOL. I did a bit of fly-tipping.

This is an interesting post that the author has created with this piece of writing. My toaster is behaving itself nicely, but my kettle, vacuum cleaner and iron all gave me hell. I replaced them and although they didn't end up on a highway, they ended up in a bin along the pavement. LOL. I did a bit of fly-tipping.

haha you are funny Spag champion! Actually there was NO CHOICE and I was looking for a quick way out. Alas, we have decided to return it for a refund it looked good on the box but, oh well. Thanks for the essay, mate and no spags hehe.
