Intriguing story, author. The ability to combine the fascinating Mexican world with the mysticism of space is creating a story that holds the reader's attention, well. Your characters are plausible, and the narrative flows well. Looking forward to the next episode.

Hi, Alvina. Thank you much for this grand review. I appreciate your mentioning what worked well for you in this post. That is always very helpful to me going forward. I must admit that Stefano and I have some of the same interests.
Take care,
Bev

Very well written. Use of active words pilot the script and one wonders what comes next. I have not read your work before, but I will be from now on.
It is interesting reading another writers work to help make sense of ones own. MaBaker

This is a wonderful chapter which prepares us for a fascinating dinner between these two main characters. I can't wait to see the next encounter between them and find out more about the shaman, Giddy

A nice middle chapter here,Bev, where things fall into perspectives...thoughts are evened out and direction becomes imprinted in the readers mind.We see where it is going and we wait for the intrigue, the cunning, the unexpected and the entity, apart from the two lead characters to make the entry, for I know you have much up your sleeve.
I saved my six in order to go back to your work once the hustle bustle of my work was taken care of...and I wasn't disappointed, even if I am a bit late getting BACK TO IT.
impeccable writing, my friend.
I will be following this one closely.
Well done.

Hello, RG. Thank you so very much for this awesome and generous review. I have been a way a few days and without internet, so I apologize for the delay in responding. I'm just thrilled that you are liking the story, my friend. That means a lot to me because I find you a very discriminating reader/reviewer. You are correct that I have things up my sleeve! There are quite a few directions this story can go, but I am aiming to make this something quite unusual, for even shamanism has it cliched figures. So appreciate the support.

Oh dear, Bev, PLEASE forgive my negligence! I will HAVE to read back to catch up, and there's so much on my plate right now (not the least of which is my new - finally! - physiotherapy.) But this is fabulous, riveting! I am compelled to follow this amazing story!
And yet again, I am all out of sixes already, since I have been reviewing like a madwoman since they were restored Saturday at midnight. ...sigh...

Ah, it's so nice to read you, Bev. The subtle way you describe details, missing nothing, allowing the reader to see through Dr Morales' eyes is done with real skill. The square, the kids, the pigeons, the boy with the rusted bike - all came to life as I read. Active voice, authentic exchanges, and smooth plot flow - bravo. As you know, I love the hints of other-worldlyness that you incorporate into your stories. This mysterious Shaman has me totally intrigued. Really looking forward to following this story.

Hi, Av. Thank you so very much for this most generous and encouraging review. I feel in some ways that I'm writing a script from a time when I explored shamanism back in the 90's. It feels good to take some of my own feelings about that world and make them over into a story for the enjoyment of others. It's a strange and wondrous world and not for the fainthearted. You've created some memorable characters that could probably relate!
Hugs, Bev

Yes, now you come to mention it, I know one or two medieval folk that would relate quite well! ;)

Bev, this deserves a six. It is so well written and I just enjoyed the flow of it all. I have to look into former chapters in order to follow the story properly, but for now, suffice to say very well done. All best, Ulla

Well written story draws readers into the scene, about wormholes, and allows them to much better experience all the events unfolding around them.

I just love how you describe people and places. I find myself sucked into the world of your characters. There is a lot that we don't understand about Shamans and the parallel universe. I think red alert was a good thing, walking into the unknown, desperately seeking knowledge and yet, afraid. Science and logic goes out the window when we meet a Shaman, I have, perhaps you have. The still, small voice is our guide before we are sucked into their eternity, some go mad. Excellent.XX

This is just a superb review, Kay. I can relate to the experience as you perfectly describe it. I really did think I would not make it 'back' at one point. These are powers that cannot be toyed with. The brain can only take you so far and then something else starts to take place. It's great knowing that you, as a reader, can relate to very well. I really appreciate the support and generosity, my friend.
