I am pleased to read another of your combined forms, especially since my review can provide the 26th and give the work the recognition it deserves. I admired your comparison to the biblical "Ruth" and your rhythmic, rhymed lines. Cheers- Joan

What a delightful review, Joan. I didn't have anything active so it was a wonderful surprise. Thank you for the kind comments about the writing and for giving this poem its 26th review. I appreaciate the kindness and your encouragement. I am pleased you like the reference to Ruth. I do love that story and her dedication.

This is so beautiful, and deeply meaningful as well. I think you have expressed in such an artistic way the rewards of following were God leads. I relate strongly to these lines, and love the flowing beauty I find in the perfect meter and gentle rhymes. Thank you for sharing your gifts and your spirit.

This is worthy of recognition...I am taken at the structure of these two styles you explain in your author's notes. (Kyrielle and Sonnet) Goodness, I am full of praise right now for the refrain line. The truth is expressed here...holding to His hand is the best and brightest thing to do. He will replenish where things have been ravaged. He will restore and renew, protect and guide.
Well done. I am going to use your poem as an example to try to write one myself.

Thank you for the shiny stars, Janet! I am a bit overwhelmed with your kind comments about the writing and flattered that it makes you want to attempt your own Kyrielle Sonnet. I appreciate the insights you share about the message and that you understood exactly what I was trying to say. Thank you so much. Debi

Hi Debi,
This is a wonderful testament to your faith. The fact you portrayed the theme in a Kyrielle is even more impressive.
I appreciated your poem with its beautiful rhyme and meter backed with a potent message...well done!

Hi Bill,
Thank you for the detailed analysis and kind comments about the writing. I appreciate encouragement. I keep trying new forms. I have done one other Kyrielle, but it was a while ago so I thought it was time to try again.
I am doing well. It is way too hot, but summer is finally here.
I hope all is well with you as well.
Debi

The story of Ruth is one of the most eloquent examples of faithfulness and faith, Jesus has some of the most faithful women in history, Ruth, Hagar, Esther, Mary. The list is endless. Beautifully written, with great flow, language and rhyming. It works really well in the aabb rhyming which adds to its fluidity and charm, well done, blessings, Roy.

This is a well written poem. The end was nice as well, 'He leads me in the ways of truth as I accept His guiding hand.' Although to my hear the beat was off slightly. Thank you for sharing.

Thank for the nice review and stars. I think with a Kyielle sonnet that last couplet always throws me a little because I expect to hear a rhyme but it never does because of how the couplet is formed. Thank you for taking time to note the concern so I can double check. Have a great day. I appreciate you stopping by.

Debi;
-Your Kyrielle Is not only written so beautifully with all the requirements perfectly.
The smoothness of your writing in this sonnet is remarkable as your rhythm, meter, cadence, timing and tempo wall helpful in making the reading clear, fluid and very easy.
-Good use of enjambment which is the running on of a thought and concepts from one stanza and line to the next without a syntactical break.
-Superb and excellent rhyming where each rhyming word is contingent to the meaning and concept of each line therefore making the rhythm flow smoothly.
-This expressive spiritual poem is meaningfully inspirational and exponentially enlightening: "He leads me in the ways of truth as I accept His guiding hand."
-Thank you for sharing and posting and may the good Lord be with you always my friend.

Ruth loved and respected her mother in law, Ruth. The Lord guided Ruth as she traveled to the promised land. You feel the same as Ruth as you accept His guiding hand. I always liked the story of Ruth . Well written with good rhyme and flow. The picture used mirrors your poem.

You are very welcome, Debi. I read everything that has to do with the Bible. I am sorry but I do not write. I used to but now all I do is review, promote poems with the fake money that I earn here and help writers in other ways. meggie :))
