We all miss Brooke's nuggets of sunshine. Posting our prayers- exactly what each and every poem in the book to her truly is. Great poem in expressing what Brooke means to us.

Hi, Alice. Very nice dedication to Brooke. We all miss her on here, don't we. I liked this stanza especially well:
"Carries her positive perceptions
In an envelope of poems
That opens
Dismal days
Quenching our thirst."
Bravo! Bob

Hi Dallas! Brooke did, indeed, bring sunshine to this site in so many ways - in her regular posting of poems, her replies to reviews, and the reviews she provided. She was always graciously helpful. I miss her, too. I'm sure she will enjoy your well penned free verse. Sue

Nice play on the three words that make up her FS name. "A dew glistens" and later "pearls of wisdom." We do wait for her to light our paths and hope to see her posts soon.

I enjoyed reading your poem. It is well written, emotional and heartfelt. Great artwork choice and good alliteration of words astute anticipation, balmy breeze, positive perceptions, dismal days, back Brook, and some sunshine.

I really love this. It is such a beautiful and appropriate tribute to our much-missed Brooke. I loved how you incorporated her screen name in many different and poetic ways. It is clever and beautiful and really lovely.

Lovely addition to Brooke's Book. And, you are right we all need some sunshine and we need it back through Brooke and the good Lord above. Thanks for sharing and keep 'em coming. Happy Monday, Deb
