Hi Michael,
I reflect on your poem the same way I reflect on this event of Easter resurrected from March on June wedding... love the way you introduced that... May flowers breathe in season's breeze... yeah, truly loved that... and
wisdom ages wine perfected
truth changed in time
twisted into lying tongue.

You have a way about you brother, a swag in thought and words that always leave me digging deeper into your wisdom... everything that drips from your mind, has meaning... and that's what I love... PH Fhat brother, substance!

Be well friend, and reflect in the reflection of time, it's there the answers have been sown.

Great music too!

With our thoughts we create,
our place in destiny,
James.

Dear Michael - I'm just coming back online and catching up on posts. This has a layered effect which brings forth much contemplation. Both in life now and history.
It does seem as though the cycle of wisdom eludes us at times, within the yellow pages of our thoughts.

Especially loved:

"who convinces quicksand its foundation
scattered as dandelion seed
alive is the weed dying to survive" // thought provoking realization.

Wonderful to read and soak in, a six from me :)
Thanks for sharing,
Mo

Holy Week in the Philippines (Spanish: Semana Santa, Filipino: Mahál na Araw) is a significant religious observance for the Roman Catholic majority and most Protestant groups. I wish we will have a meaningful and blessed week ahead of us! I'll be praying for you my dear friend! God bless us! c", Mae

Your poem possesses a voice and a rhythm I have not encountered before. I read it aloud twice, and then thrice and still cannot make sense of it. The free verse lines have a choppy sound when read. Read poems aloud. Your poem sounds like the mind thinking and not like the voice speaking.

I know you are trying really hard to express deep thoughts, but for me, at least, the poem lacked clarity and did not congeal around a core theme I can identify. The poem is modern almost to the point of being abstract. Your poem is the world seen through a kaleidoscope through which I cannot decipher what I am looking at but I am dazzled by colors.

Thank you for sharing this though provoking work.

I'm glad you had time for one more poem before you went back to work. You found a grand compliment to your poem with the dandelion picture. I enjoyed your bits of rhyme and philosophy in "wisdom ages wine" as "destiny leads first and last dance". Cheers- Joan

I'm sorry it was a rough ride at work today. Maybe the whip wielder will realize it's the holiday season and go easier the rest of the week. One can only hope... Take good care of yourself and yes, drink lots of water. More hugs- Joan
