I grew up one tough coolie as my youngest brother 3 years younger was always picking on me and I learned to fight.

Painful story, but very good writing. Seems heredity runs strong in that family. The coach would probably be kicked out the league for abuse today. I like the strong descriptive beginning and the dialogue.
