Yikes! This sounds like the basis for a movie plot! Although I don't like all the deception & treachery represented, you have aced this story. Your artwork and the title are great choices as well.

This was a neat idea but I felt limited within the 60 words. Too much left unsaid for me. It didn't feel complete for me. Although the last line is very good.
