Really like this and the picture. The rhyme and meter are perfect and I like that the cross makes one have higher thought and relieves twisted knots. That's what it's meant to do. Have a Merry Christmas. Rox

Thank you for sharing your reflections from the inspirational site in the form of an Octelle. I especially liked your "knots" metaphor, along with your rhymes and repeats for emphasis. I appreciated another of your special photographs. Cheers- Joan

Excellent photo that complements your poem very well. It rhymes and flows well. Thanks for the foot note that refreshed my memory. It is almost religious in contents. Well done,

A delight structurally, your Octelle also presents an image that is profound. I see the two planes of the cross, straight, one representing the earth the other pointing to the spiritual realm. And as we all get emotionally and intellectually entangled in the horizontal, earthly realm, the promise is in the vertical, to "help relieve twisted knots."
Simple and simply beautiful, Treischel.

G'day Treischel. I like reading this little poem and the picture is awesome. It falls off meter a little in the middle but maybe that is just my way of looking at it. Good work, cheers Fez
