This is delightful and oozes much simple truth from every line. wallow miss much of the pure joy life brings and you express the positives of embracing life admirably. Nicely done and I thank you so much for sharing this with me.

I love this poem. I can relate to this. No matter what, keep moving forward. Live life, do it in a way that makes you happy and no one else. So many times I let others and even my health get me down. But I just pick myself up and keep going. You did a great job.

I do love life, it is now my passion
I try to avoid any negative distraction
To refrain from an unwanted reaction
My spirit's alive and in full mode action
Well done...I,love this positive attitude

Hi there, Mary

An interesting poem that engages the reader with life's struggles and how we come out in the end excepting our lot.

Being different is the same as saying I am not a bloody sheep!

That can only be considered a good thing:)

If it wasn't for people who think outside the box of the norm, we would still be ploughing up the fields with the arse bone of a giraffe :)

Sorry to hear that you have been unwell, and that you continue to have pain.

But your attitude toward it is spot on.

Good for you girl!

LOved the rhyming and good use of language.

Kind regards

trimple:)

Excellent and very strong positivity expressed, created from a not so happy past, Mary.

Nice that you mention how you appreciate nature more - and it's there, free for everyone who cares to look.

Nice one.

Best wishes, Ray xx

It can be quite a challenge to learn to love life and oneself again after enduring tragedy through existence. Some more than others, yet nonetheless we all carry some amount of pain to withstand and hopefully to one day overcome. Your words capture the beauty of this message clearly with a lovely meter and image to follow. Thank you for sharing. Peace be with you, friend :)

This is just lovely Mary. It speaks loudly to maturing and loving the person you are. If we have that, we have everything. I swear life starts at 50. I waste no moments of life anymore and it seems the same is tru for you. Excellent!

Yes rod we do learn to accept things that we would not have when we were younger. I do love life, yet I cannot walk any more than 10 minutes without pain, I have numerous other ailments, but I manage them, and arrange my life around it all. Because I know I have no choice if I want any joy and happiness. Thanks for the wonderful review, Mary

Hi Mary,
a wonderful set of quatrains setting out life's journey's and the acceptance we take from lesson and judgements rendered... but in the end we can only be ourselves... the true authentic human being that we are... that is what opens us up and connects us to the 'everything' of life... beautifully penned my dear friend.

With our thoughts we create,
authenticity,
James xx

Thanks James, yes I do accept my ailments, because I have no choice so I work on my attitude. "attitude is more important then the fact"

Thanks for your great review Mary
