Wow, Dean, this is a great tribute. It is a hopeful tear-jerker, if that makes sense. Your rhyme and rhythm were beautifully in sync, like Pam's poems, full of beauty and empathy.

Dean, Gungalo stands alone in her special place, her work was hers alone, no matter what the standing...she wrote of life, its love, and you have shown how much of what she taught you remains...she would be happy for you...Yes I am also saddened by the serious illness of our friend Maureen, I am still praying for her...We have been Blessed with the greatness of the pens of these wonderful writers...You have achieved much, and you deserve your place....Pam will always be on that list perhaps some will not see her name, but I for one, will always remember her work, she brought to me a special joy, often I would tell her how much her work reminded me of my Richard, she's send me a sigh and a smile......She will always be with us, as one of the Fanstory family of writers...Thanks so much for sharing this work with us, it was a joy to read....

I have hardly any more stars and it is only Sunday. And yet, the depth of the love these two have inspired moves me greatly. This is a lovely tribute. I came on the FS scene as Pam left for a higher place. The same day I think. I was compared to her in my early attempts at writing. What an honor when I dipped into her portfolio. I fanned Maureen as well. May birds of of feather fly into the sky.

Thanks, Bina1, she did much the same for me. She taught me how to place animations in my poetry and prose, much to the chagrin of some members here, and kept encouraging me to write poetry, especially the prompts and contests, as they often force you to think outside your comfort zone. I simply could not pass her name in the rankings without giving her a nod of recognition.

Beautifully done, Dean. Did you know that some bitch has been writing attacks in Gungalo's profile, which some people had set up as a shrine? I don't know if she still is doing it. How cowardly is that, attacking a person who can't reply? I reported her once when somebody told me.
