This is a very beautiful poem in tribute to Gungalo, Dean. While I didn't know her, I know she had a very special place in the hearts of many here on Fanstory. And I did read much of her poetry and found it to be quite lovely.

This is a very beautiful poem in tribute to Gungalo, Dean. While I didn't know her, I know she had a very special place in the hearts of many here on Fanstory. And I did read much of her poetry and found it to be quite lovely.

Hi, Deaan..Just dropped in for a visit. (to see waht condition my condition is in) LOL...As for this poem. How nice it truly is, Dean. Pam and I had many conversations, even though she was the poet, I the prose writer. She always had good things to spur the human race onward.

A lovely tribute to a lovely poet. Most on this site have read one or more of her up-lifting poems. This, indeed, a "well-earned and respectful nod." The music flows very nicely with it, too.

My delayed response is all, Jack. I am usually very prompt, and I hate cut-n-paste replies. But, pneumonia has gotten me down a little, and lots of restless nights haven't helped matter much.

I think that Gungalo would approve of that picture, most definitely & too, your poem...And such, pleasant, heavenly sounding music, it seems to be. So thoughtful of you, Dean, to remember her, when you achieved the same rank here that she did...So nice, that she is not forgotten, & her memory revived by this, your wonderful, rhyming poem.
I know those here who have read Maureen's work & just know about this inspiring poet are seriously praying for her health to improve & lighting many visual candles for her, too.
