I can honestly say that I was never interested in poetry until I started reading a couple of Pam's poems every day. Now it makes me feel guilty that I didn't at least give it a try while she was still here to see, like she had asked me to do. Thanks for sharing your kind thoughts. :-)

Same here, Ric. Pam's poetry inspired me to try some of my own, and she worked with me constantly to help me improve. She taught me how to use animations in my posts, and sounds, and so much more as to poetic expression and form.

I hope so, jay, I really do. She taught me so much, and as many here that loathe animations in poetry, it was Gungalo who taught me how to do it. Hence, the animations in this poem are in honor of what she taught me.

With Pam's love for beautiful graphics, she is smiling approvingly for your tribute. 'We are as the lilies of the field' our bloom is short in the overall passage of time. Many pass without having admiration from anyone. It reminds us to show love and appreciation for all gifts of those around us, everyday.

Damn, Dean, this is some really good stuff, I too think about her everytime I pass that listing. No matter how few reviews I got Gungalo would always stop by and add a nice comment. Yeah, that seems a little dimmer without her.

Pam was always so kind and sharing. She was my first fan and taught me how the Fanstory system works. You have penned an excellent tribute to her. I still visit her page for a good read once in a while and am glad that her poetry is still available. She was talented as a writer. She was versatile in forms and in combining them in wonderful ways. I still learn a lot reading her poetry. My favorite is one about a crow. Not her typical topic, but kind of haunting.
Thanks for a reminder that we should cherish those around us.

Yes, it can, kiwijenny, and I guess that's all we can do, to put our faith and trust in Him, and pray for the best. My light too will fade, as will all of our uniquely bright and wonderful lights. I only hope I leave as wonderful impression on people as Pam did on me.
