A zombie football league? How imaginative! The implications raise many "important" moral and ethical questions that really don't need to be asked or answered.
I'm only a mild fan of football and even less of sports writing but the title caught my eye and I had to check it out. So glad because I did have fun with this one! I love the awesome artwork. Thanks.

Thanks, Monica, but the creator of the game hated the idea. he gave me two stars for my entty, the lowest rating I've ever received for something I've written on this site in the two years I've been here. I think he got offended, thinking I was making light of his idea. Actually, I wasn't. He said to have "fun with it", and to me, zombies are loads of fun, LOL.

Also please feel free to write more histories. I was only allowed to make this contest 72 hours, but my existing contest on my website runs until July 15.

Thank you Robert. I did go to your website, saw that the UFL was established in 1922. I have all of the PDF files already downloaded. In addition, I am writing about an existing UFL franchise, the Akron Racers. Perhaps I misunderstood the whole gist of this. Obviously by the poor rating, I did, LOL...

Thanks, Robert. That two star rating is the lowest I have ever received in my two years on this website. It really stung a bit. You need to go back and reread what giving a two star rating means, my friend. two stars means that the writing itself is horrible as it pertains to punctuation, sentence structure and content. It literally mean the writing needs vast improvement.
I in no way was making light of your concept. You said we could "heave fun with it", and that it could be as weird as we wanted. You should reiterate your intentions so others do not make the same mistake.

The careful little touches you added in there, "voracious appetite for winning --and the occasional cheerleader or referee" made me crack up in the context of this apparent 'serious' history of the ZFL. Like the way you laid this history out, and I would LOVE to see more writing from you in the future.

Thanks, John. I realize I took a different approach than most here. But, I often do that, for whatever crazy reason. This one said it had to be comedy, and to have fun with it. So,that's what I set out to do.
