A genius can develop at any age. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read. Good luck in your contest.

This is a well-thought-out and articulated piece, one to surely be at the forefront of the contest committee for consideration.

You've done a remarkable job.

The entirety of this work is wonderful. Nicely done by the author.
""This is too big a task for Sensatillia. She makes allowances too readily. It portends a lack of boldness and the leanings of a doormat would result. She is simply unsuitable for a light of this luminosity."

Mikey, this Shakespeare's Muse contest entry is a strong contender with a delightful creative flair concerning the board meeting of the muses. The halibun style is fun. Well done. All the best in the contest! :0 GracieAnn

Really cool topic and an excellent entry. A gathering of fairies deciding who would be Shakespeare's muse- so that is what compelled him to write " A Midsummer' s Night Dream". Excellent lullaby poem too. Do you always write the poems specifically for the story or do you sometimes incorporate old poems?

Thank you! The first kind of book I wrote was an excuse to throw in some old poems. But, I usually just write something that fits. I'm always itching to write a poem! Its funny with all of the writing I have on the shelf, I haven't used anything old in months. Glad you liked this, I did too. mikey

Yes I very much like this piece.... The muses all musing over Shakespeare... how intriguing indeed! This is what I liked the best... Very imaginative and wonderful.... Great work :)

You have truly created a classic. This could be developed into a book that spans many artists of all kinds. What a lovely tale, "a muse assigned at birth."

I totally love this!! Very imaginative. Love the poem. Love the idea that we are "assigned" a muse at birth. Some might even call them guardian angels. One of your best, although I'm not supposed to know who this is. :D

This is absolutely brilliant. The language you chose to use, the 'fighting' amongst the muses as to who gets to inspire Shakespeare ... honestly, so original and well written.

What a pleasure to read this piece. Excellent work!
