I am glad you are still enjoying the childlike pleasures and sharing your photos of these simple joys. I enjoyed your rhymes and the exhilaration of going higher! Cheers- Joan

I quite enjoy the Rondel poetry style and you have shown its versatility to perfection.
How often do we marvel at just such a sight but never truly commit the joy
And fun to be had in a park play area to our memory.
You have awakened memories of my children, and now my grandchildren,
Squealing with glee.

A delightful poem about children at play dome technically proficiently, but with meaning. By the way, how did you fare with your entry in the contest?

Hi, Treischel,
"Children at the Playground" is a rondel meeting all of the requirements of that genre. It has good rhythm and excellent unusual rhyme pattern which is followed consistently. The meter is good.

Another good delivery, Treischel. You make good use of the knowledge of systems. The repetition fits in nicely and do not disturb or throw thoughts.
Good write,
Best wishes,
RG

I remember pushing my younger sister ever higher until she cried. Of course she got even later on after she picked herself up from the sand and bawled 'MAAW!!' As to the piece, a far different scenario is displayed. Love the Rondeau, perhaps a rondel as good as yours is next.
