I really do not know how to review this poem.
But I read your notes and your explanation, still it didn't help.
But you did a great job here, I must say.

Very interesting format, Tom, and one I have never heard of nor seen before now. It is indeed very fast!
I've seen the advertisements for the game on television, and the commercial is hilarious. If the game is half as good as the commercial, I've no doubt that it' a blast to play.
Well done, and thanks for the introduction of yet another form of poetic expression.

Ha, I can imagine!
You're very welcome, Tom. I may try one of these "Blitz" poems soon.

This is very cool and you did it so well. I am impressed. It indeed hit me like lightning. I have never heard of such a poem. But I'm confused about the rule about line 50 should be the last word of line 47; did you mean 48? Because the last word of 47 is trophies. Am I misunderstanding something? Please clarify because I would like to try one myself. I really enjoyed this and thank you for not only sharing the poem, but the rules also.

Thank you WL. You know what? I had pasted the from description a while and forgot about that requirement.

Hi, Treischel,
"Clash of Clans" is excellent blitz poem that appears to meet its requirements. It moves fast if you do try to puzzle out meanings.

HA!...LOL...Now that is a poem and excellent thoughts...I've played clash of clans...don't necessarily think of it as tooo violent but I can definitely understand the basis of which this poem talks about. Bringing families together, playing board games are more peaceful and spending quality time with one another. Great poem...just great.

I think the blitz poem had the same effect on me as playing clash of clans may have on you. The clipped lines work in rapid fire bursts showing really the mechanics of the game and the...thoughts games sometimes inspire. I'm a gamer from way back and know that mushy-headed feeling after stepping away from a long gaming session. Do not get an X-Box One- not if you value sleep.

This kind of poem is effective in evoking images of this video game which is far better than the death and violence of real wars. I've never been a video games guy myself but I know my son loves it. Well done, Tom.

An effective blitz. I can just imagine the speed with which your digits are destroying the invaders - such dexterity! These games sure can become addictive!

Hello there Tom
I have never seen this 'Blitz Poem' perfect term given the roots of its origin.
Great read that took us from online gaming to real war, then suggested that all wars be played to settle indifference's. WoW wouldn't that be far more healthy for all concerned. Then again, most wars are about creating money for the weapons industry who have top dog politicians acting as ghosts.
Interesting write Tom
well done
kind regards
