A great write
A great read
An interesting poem
Very amazing
Most fascinating
You did well describing how a tree and some other works of nature can become a concubine to the wind and winter.
Fine concept! You truly deserve to win!
Congratulations!

They don't notify on contest entries. They just list them in our profiles and don't tell anyone. Sometimes I don't enter them for that reason like my little piece about the little girl that wanted to leave home with the fighting parents. I miss some great pieces that way too. Glad you liked this though. I even liked it and I don't usually like my stuff!! mikey

Hi Mikey

Congratulations on your win! Sorry I missed it. This is a splendid poem Amazing presentation merely embellishes what is already perfect. Again in your own unique style and great wit. How seductive .. "I feel the shiver of each kiss" ... "you are mine my pet, every conquered bough. Certainly original, sexy and so much fun. A well deserved win. Just dished this up between chapters eh?????? I'm impressed. You make me feel like I'm moving as a snail's pace. Keep on doing what you're doing. :)))v Hugs - Lovi xoxox

Congratulations. This poem is a masterful job of personification. Winter certainly had its way with us in this poem...concubines all. Your descriptive poetic construction is stunning.

Congratulations on winning this contest:) you definitely personified winter in this presentation. So you are a winter lover? Lol. I am used to winter but think spring and fall are my favorites.

I am a winter lover. But, I seldom am exposed to it. I imagine a week of "real winter" might change my mind! I am in the desert so spring is too hot and fall is only about a week long. Depends where you live I think. Thank you so much. A big surprise. mikey

Good descriptive word use that creates a clear image in my mind. Good alliteration with trying/to...but/blow...what/want...lovely/look...have/had...way/with...fickle/friends...slick/slither...mine/my. Good complimentary photo followed by a clear message that holds my attention from start to finish.

Very beautiful. I truly love the way Mike puts words together, and somehow makes them flow. Not much of a writer myself, I get inspired when I read his works to maybe start to try my hand at it some day.

Most appreciated. You should write. Just get a piece of paper and a pen and write down whatever occurs to you. That is all any of us does. Skills come with practice. But, what you think and feel is something that only you can reveal.
