Weeds also display vivid imagery, as well expressed in your rispetto poem;
Purple hues easily overlooked as we only take notice of the thorns--easy to overlook and ignore the colorful petals, as this plant flourishes not in gardens, but along roadsides.
Excellent!
Beauty sometimes noticed in the most unusual locations.

Thanks Margaret. And yet roses have thorns too. Like the dandelion, unappreciated.

Oh yes--I forgot about the thorns of roses--so true.

I have to admit that it is quite a pretty flower but the plant itself can be quite obnoxious.
Seeds can take over pasture so quickly and cause a heavy infestation quite quickly.
A very well written Reverse Rispetto poem written which clearly expresses your sentiments.
Great attention to detail in rhyme and meter and formatting.

Wonderful resurrection of that flower from the mud in your admiration of it. The colors are wonderful and truly reflects it's glory in your sensitive verse. Well done.

Now why would someone think that was a weed? it's really very pretty. Of course I'm a little strange I even like dandelions. Very good poem and point. God loves you and I do too.
