Yes , you are right, except that, many of the surrounding areas, have more frequency in a build up of mobile homes for those who want to gamble.
But you are right, some beautiful scenes in Vegas.

Thanks RG, I love to gamble too, but there's a limit. Once my budgets blown I'm off sightseeing and shooting photographs.

This lovely Cinquain poem does have a tale to tell.
It seems people travel to Las Vegas not just for casinos and gambling but also for the warmer temperatures.
The poem adhreres to the syllable count for a Cinquain and is presented well.

So true Tom and this is where we are doing it all wrong. Clubs and casinos greedily rolling doling and withdrawing in the sweaty dream of money while we ignore nature's beauty which is the ONLY beauty. Well done.

This is an excellent Cinquain following the line/syllable requirements you stated and making a coherent statement with flow. Flow for me was interrupted in the last line by my lips saying outside when my mind wanted to say within.

good use of the firm here. I also like life outside the gambling halls, but in Vegas, the interior of the ersatz Paris and Venice seems more real than the reality of the street.

I've never been to Vegas--people talk about casinos and the flashing lights--they don't talk about desert plants and wildflowers;
A pleasant reminder of what Vegas has to offer--the sights not listed in brochures.
