A good naani. I like your color scheme, like the leaf. Good descriptive words. Good alliteration with leafy elephant ears. Red veined ripples is another good description.

Excellent write those elephant ears are such beautiful plants,, my mum had a Hugh elephant ear plant years ago,, it was a beauty,, I have not see this plant in years,,I enjoyed this read,,blessings sueellen
