I think my wife has redefined me constantly throughout forty years of marriage. I listen to her praise and criticism withh equal sensitivity and she has modified my beliefs, self esteem and directions in life in clear candid ways as well as in subtle not easily defined actions and words. Thank you for these words of wisdom that have brought a moment of apprecaition and self reflection.

I don't have a wife, and I already know who and what I am. So this this short piece is not relevant for me. I am not even sure if it would be relevant for most of those who would be reading it. It is well written, but not very good in it's view points... John

Perhaps before the marriage the full-reining evaluation should be allowed. It may turnout that there are hurdles that you cannot jump, physical attributes that are considered junk.`
After marriage when she has had her say you may want her to go away. But she will tell you "honey" you are no longer funny and she is taking the money.
Maybe a more in depth look at a future Wife so you do not end up in strife for failing to look at her prior life, including her three former husbands.

Great way to find out who you are. One thing though it should read spouse because a wife could also know who she is by allowing he husband to qualify her.

Again, this is a sketch rather than a write of substance. it is also addressing the reader as if they are all male...and all married with a 'professional wife'...and what does that mean, exactly? it would be good to elaborate when coining a new phrase or term.
This is full of spag errors as well. While I do understand your reluctance to use normal grammar etc. in poetry, in prose it is not really an option.
The second stanzas are redundant and seem to say exactly the same thing.
The adverbs weaken the closing...
