You want to know why this is brilliant? I have a wife who is my biggest fan, but also my biggest critic. If my feet start to float above the ground, filled with self-praise, she will quickly be the lead balloon that brings me back to planet earth. She's a good person to know.

This is a very interesting idea. I don't think many would be brave enough to allow someone that close to tell them who they are. I think people prefer the mask they present in public.
