I like the format of your verses, Treischel, it is different and works really well. I love the subject, your grandson seems to have been having a great time. How is your wife doing now, is she home? xsx Sandra

Boy, does this one bring me back. My grandmother's backyard was filled with old growth oak and maple and those leaf piles were huge and over five feet deep! Great fun that you capture in your poem.

Hi, Treischel,
This is an excellent joyful poem. It has beautiful flow an rhythm. It has good rhyme and figurative language. The imagery illustrated by the picture is excellent.

A delightful child four poem which captures the spontaneity and fun in this childs harmless play.
I like the style, format and overall presentation and a great subject choice.

Very well done, a fun piece showing the spirit of a child in fall. We never had enough leaves to jump into when I was a kid on the desert. Really cute picture too. Rox

Jeremy is sooo cute, Tom!
A well-crafted Child Four dedicated to children, as well as autumn;
He appears to be having a wonderful time as fall provides more than beautiful visions.

Thank you Margaret. I actually took a video of him diving into those leaves. He had a ball.

    Oh, no doubt!
I could never partake in this event, I didn't have ample trees in my yard!

Leaves,
When they are gathered into large piles,
The chance for play achieves
Big smiles.

Kids
Will dive inside the spongy middle. LOVE this line
Makes their smiling eyelids
Giggle.

Joy
Was soon WITH WILD ABANDON carried.
Lots of leaves HAS this boy
Buried.

Then
When disappearing before our eyes,
His head pops out again.
Surprise!!!

A well crafted, boisterous piece of autumn fun well presented upon a palette of humor.

Regards:
