Dean Kuch Pictapoem!!! And this one is as spectacular as all of them.
Serves that caretakert right! Necrophiliac of the worst kind, but he became Myrtle's desert, hehe.
I loved the research done on this one and read the author's notes with great attention. This story reminded me a bit of the movie Supernatural--one of my favourite series.

Eeeeyeeew, just ick... you do manage to put me solidly on Myrtle's side though. The good news is that you never claimed to shy away from disturbing thoughts and images, and anyone who dares read past such ominous titles as "Waiting With Open Graves" knows exactly what kind of tals they are slipping into. I haven't mentioned this before, but I really enjoy your presentations of your work.

Do you find the music intrusive? What I mean is, does it bother you that it begins playing automatically? Would you prefer to have the option of opening the video yourself? I'm just gathering some popular opinion, as I've heard it is annoying to some. My intent here is to entertain, never to annoy...

I didn't find it intrusive - just a post that already scares me and the music bumped it up a few notches. You always entertain...but I can't read and hide behind the cushion at the same time:)

You are at the your best in poetic commentary and notes that show how you so thoroughly know your topic. I know you digressed a little for the rhyme with catamaran but it gave me a real lift of laughter. It was an imaginative identity in a imaginative poem.

I always get excited when I see you've posted something new. This one about the cemetery and it's old necropheliac caretaker is both terrifying and humorous as he gets his just rewards. Wonderfully colorful characterizations like: cranky caretaker ( loved the imagery and alliteration), Whistles quite merrily whilst, a toothless wry grin, Sheets of fabric from a wrecked catamaran, kneaded callouses hands, whispered coquettish voice. Truly a delightfully grim read.

Because I saw the author's name I took the decision to read.
As I progressed I found no explicit sex or violence ore sex so I read on.
Th quality of the language I describe as eloquent. The aabb rhymes were perfect and the presentation of picture and picture fitting. The author's note were informative and I need confirmation that the contents are factual. Great Work

This 'pictapoem' series; one that combines a poem embedded in a photo, with musical or sound accompaniment, is one of those "love-'em, or "hate-'em" types of things. Fans of this format dearly love it. Others scold me, claiming I must not be very confident in my writing if I need all of the bells and whistle. Nothing could be further from the truth. Music, in and of itself, is poetic, lyrical; a media that can transport us back in time to younger, happier times. That's what these poems are designed to do, transport the reader into the story to make them feel a part of it.
As far as the sexual warning, I have learned from past experience that had I not placed such a label on it, I would be chastised for it being about necrophilia. It is what it is, a tale of terror, designed to instill terror through the overall experience.
I've ranted long enough, I apologize. I do thank you for such an encouraging review.
