Certainly a thought-provoking Couplet Query poem.
Honestly I'm not sure I've succeeded in answering the question but I've certainly thought about it.
A clever style and format and great picture and presentation.

That's a new form to me. Well thought out. Clearly written with rhyme and visual imagery. Great accompanying photograph too. Fabulous!

Hi, Treischel,
This is an excellent question asked in an excellent format.
One for the life of me I cannot answer. If you are an optimist you've hit bottom an go up. If you are a pessimist you've farther down to go. Thanks for the brain teaser. If the answer is contained in the question I can't see it.

Thanks Preston. It is not in the question, it's in the author's notes.

Hmm interesting. I've yet to try this. Maybe I will. I love this. Very good form here, after I researched it. Great verbiage and a compelling question. All in all I very much like it. Good rhyming. Can they be near rhymes too? Nicely done!

My answer to this query is don't sup from the cup in the first place, Mr. 'T'...

You claim that the answer to this question set to couplet query is in the poem itself. I don't see it. Perhaps I'm loosing my sensitivity perception and you can enlighten me?

Even so, I liked the overall presentation...

What a profound question in such a short form. You have internal rhymes in sup and cup and there and where. Might try this myself sometime.

When you SUP from the CUP Internal rhyme
of bitterness and woe, strong imagery
Then the question remains,
from THERE, WHERE do you go? Internal rhyme

My, you are experimenting. Well done.

An interesting form and a good question in your couplet query. Nice presentation, too.
