Is there something going on between the damsel fly and the plant that would cause a bluish blush? Funny, I caught that without reading your notes which does mean you are getting across what you mean. I am on vacation now which is why I have been silent. I know this- I'm getting a field guide.

This was an amazing write, Mr. 'T'. And, as stunning as your photo is, the poem was beautiful! It certainly made the entire presentation POP!
I especially liked all of the information you've provided here. The tiny, colorful damselfly just so happens to be a favorite form of entertainment for me, as my dogs and I frequent a large field of wildflowers near my home. I (we) do so love that special place, our own little slice of Heaven...

Thank you Dean. A field of wildflowers with your dog sounds idyllic. Butterflies and dragonflies would be happy there. I love watching them too.

I enjoyed your minute poem, and the lesson on writing a minute poem. I m kind of confused about iambic meter. I looked it u on line trying to figure out what it meant. I need to study some of these different meters. It gets confusing. Sara :)

Thanks Sara. It simply hard and soft accents. For example, your Name, "Sara", has a hard accent on the first syllable, so you could not start or end an iambic line with your name. But the word "defeat", has the hard accent on the second syllable so you could start or end an iambic line with it. Iambic just goes soft/ hard.

Hi Tom,
Always love your wildflower work. Well penned and you brought the plant alive for me. Great rhyming and smooth flow. I enjoyed reading your author notes as well.
Thanks for sharing it. - Your picture is wonderful too.
