You evoke a sense of purity in this write. I imagine earth in its pristine condition, life dependent on its magnificent oceans, lakes and rivers.
Since this isn't a traditional haiku contest, I don't think it would be correct to deduct a star for the rhyming earth/birth. But as you know, end rhyme is a big no-no in haiku.

I like how you make us SEE the sea and its importance to humanity.
Nice use of C and B alliteration. The rhyme of earth/birth is especially effective.
