I don't know a lot about meter and rhythm but I know what I like. I think its like some folk play music by ear and others read music. Classically trained or by ear if one has an ear for music than one can play it with a pen. I like your introduction to Earl Ray and I fear you resorted to the patrons of lost causes too soon. Your words sing be they slightly out of tune. I suggest you play with them and continue the search for synchronicity.

I love your play on words and agree with you 100% that Ray is the meter man. I love meter so he didn't get much chance to slap my hands LOL!!! He did comment once or twice on my choice of words. We have meter readers here too but I prefer your metronome meter man for music and rhythm. I had hoped your first poem would convince Ray to stay but it sounds to me like you have given up hope??? Ray, if you are reading this, WE WANT YOU TO STAY!!!!!
