Love it, asking the big question. I'd be interested to know the inspiration for these words as I too feel like the platform is tilted somewhat.

Oh no hang on, thats my NEXT post...LMAO I'm kidding. Although I do have one called that, its not finished...I have more trickery to add to it (could be awhile, WATCH THIS SPACE)...haha Anyhows, to your poem, good solid wordplay here and unfortunate as it is mate there will always be these types who operate in a distasteful manner. I take pride in knowing I've never pooled for votes and only ever voted for who I thought had the best chance and the work I liked...sad that there are stinky bad eggs to spoil it for others...cheats abound my friend. BEWARE. Nicely written. Your portfolio is coming along well mate.

Now that I've been applauding this poetic gem for the last several minutes, I guess that I should write what I think about it. I think that Fitzgerald's quote ("you don't write because you have to say something; you write because you have something to say") could easily define what this poem is all about. The images and flow had the right level of pleasant violence (if I may say such a thing) and the image's link to the poem was really great.

Now that I've been applauding this poetic gem for the last several minutes, I guess that I should write what I think about it. I think that Fitzgerald's quote ("you don't write because you have to say something; you write because you have something to say") could easily define what this poem is all about. The images and flow had the right level of pleasant violence (if I may say such a thing) and the image's link to the poem was really great.

HI dear Jaq - I'm not sure of whom or what this refers to specifically, but it certainly applies to some of the goings-on that happen here on occasion. it's a well voiced observation-rant. I like this style of ranting best, as it does not point fingers so much as ask questions. Well cone. Nice free verse style with random rhymes adding musical appeal.
Integrity is one of most favorite qualities (to try and cultivate as well as to witness in others--authenticity is an integral part of it, too).
Striking presentation with the artowkr choice. Dramatic.
Well done!
I also like the short lines in descending flow--gives it a pacing that's fluid and flowing.

More plagiarism or just no integrity to begin with?? - not sure what spurred this one on - but it sure has a lot of power behind it - I found it refreshing to see some still stand up and say no more. I tried that and found out the hard way integrity means nothing more than the almighty dollar sign.

Thanks Maureen. It's all about someone who e-mailed a few members for votes and is still on the site. While Indie spoke up feels she has to leave because of her treatment since she spoke up. Her poems were censored yet again. Thanks for reading Maureen xxx
