Wow. Death of the Verse Writer. An eloquent fall into the struggle of his own demise. Hmmm, did that even make sense? LOL Not really but it sounded impressive and all PHILLIsophic...haha
I'm sure all poets fear the impending death of the muse...I say milk it for as long as its there and cry not for words unspoken and what might have been but for those already written as they hold steadfast in time to touch, mould and change lives.
Nah, I'm bullshitting. This was great. LOL I really loved the lament in the last stanza...

This is beautiful and graceful poetry, Jaq, which captivates from the outset. I love those last lines which are so poignantly sad. I really "felt" this one.

Beautiful, so lovely, the way you embrace the ending of a chapter. So painful, that I hope that person reconsiders and decides to stay in this life--that life is worth living, and it's better to face life than to be weak and face death.
Whoever this person is, someone needs to help them stay in life, if it's not to late.
