A lovely poem to tribute the journey these two are about to embark on. Symbolic of all that is good in a relationship, the love, the support, the acceptance and facing the ups and downs together.

Loved this, inspite of my sarcasm. You have a knack for optimism JC and I enjoyed this heartfelt write about two souls coming together to face it all and become stronger for it.

Ahhhh P, thanks again, but I would say my cynicism may well match yours when it comes to this. LMAO. I do hope for my daughter that it can be this way. Sometimes optimism is all we have to hold onto :), much appreciated girlie, Jaq xxx

Loved the picture. Flow worked perfectly. I just wanted to tell you that I really like this poem, I mean REALLY like it. And I just gave my last six to Alex for his amazing poem- did you see it? Wow. I'm still breathless from that.
Brilliant work Jaq, I think you have expressed now many of us feel and it's good to know we have someone there to lean on in these hard times. "Make life blossom in eternal light"- beautifully hopeful. We do need to realise that it isn't about the tragedies that occur but the people who are there to help us pick up the pieces afterwards.

Lovely poem with an uplifting, sentimental and spiritual tone, good flow and decent rhyming. Using Love and above, however, is not recommended, because it is the most cliche rhyme pair in existence. I used it a few times in my early poems, along with life and strife, and I still recall the gratitude I felt when a kind reviewer let me know how using them weakens a work...it really does, IMHO. Vision and indecision--now that's a unique, fresh rhyme pair and much more impressive.
Excellent cadence and flow in this--fine to read aloud. Good presentation too.
Favorite part:

then you'll glean

to change your plight

in eternal light

The only "negative" point of what I just read is that I can't rate it with the number of stars it deserves (six). I can give it five stars for its flow, images, rhymes (when they occurred) and one star for that picture that covered this poem. I could feel the love hidden behind your words and/or your images. So, I gave it six stars (even though five stars are shown in the image.)

Hi Jaq, I liked the quick pace of this one. It felt and read much like a waterfall. Cascading imagery and inner faith showcased well in this work. I enjoyed reading this one.
