I didn't know Indie had been banned, Jaq. Are you sure, and if so, what for?
I haven't read much of her stuff but have bumped into her in the 'site forums', and she seems interesting and fun.
Anyway, this is an excellent if sad tribute to her. Top rhymes and mostly good flow.
Very enjoyable (if that's the right phrase considering the theme:
'Her profile's gone.
Has she been banned?
This ray of sunshine
has been canned' - oh well, there's still ME as a 'RAY of sunshine' - well, when I'm not being a grumpy old sod. LOL
Well said, and I hope she comes back.

I had the pleasure of knowing Indie as a reviewer and, to a lesser extent, as a friend and her departure brought me back to write this op-ed review. I hope that she'll come back. No writers should be left behind!

The magnificent wonderfulness of censorship will never cease to amaze me. Freedom of speech is what allows us not to live in a state of grey boredom. I had the pleasure of knowing Indie as a reviewer and, to a lesser extent, as a friend and her departure brought me back to write this op-ed review. I hope that she'll come back. once again the hammer is brought down on the wrong head. Anyone that reads this lady's poetry will leave with a smile on their face,guaranteed.
It looks like I'm to blame,yes that's right. Every time I fan someone their banned, so watch out if you see my request to fan you,run, it's only a matter of time! First Mark and Tammy both incredible writers and people I miss dearly on here now someone I've just met and connected to straight away, PLEASE TOM, humor is humor and in the dark corners of this site surly we need a light to keep the smile on our faces.Indie is a real talent and the scumbag that was responsible and caused this to fester is still out there free to review, sounds very familiar doesn't it?America land of the brave,land that fought and still fights for free speech? Things that make you go MMMMMmmmmmmmm Jaq, this was a great poem and had all the ingredients to start a war, a war on words, thank you so much for what you've done here,wish I had the sixes to give this but once again Mark went out on one of my sixes, so your probably lucky. I'm so glad you brought this out in the open,thank you.

enjambment is noteworthy; these quatrain strophes relate
quite a story of a political ban. The metaphoric title
(dual in meaning) and awesome picture are matched with sober, troubling, but poetical verbiage. The overall pre-sentation is believable. I highly recommend it for wider
readership. I am sorry if I have misstated the intentions

this deserves 7 stars as my cousin Mark and his wife were banned unjustly for poems and talented poets they were, I for one am unsure about renewing my membership, why would an owner of a site allow such nepotism and bullies to run it. Do they not know after someone gets banned for such stupidity they tell 100 other people. foolish my friend.
