Love it. True to form (of course) and totally evocative. So many tiny grabs within the 'suite' that work flawlessly.

the juxtaposition of 'trickle' and 'cataracts' is great

'make a dam with rocks or mud
tiny engineers'

I really enjoy and can relate to this poem...albeit being an adult. Living in a geographical area that is snowbound for part of the year...spring is always...always so welcome. By the end of the season snow is a four letter word.

So evocative of what kids really do. I can see them in my minds eye, thanks to your descriptive words. Seems like good poetry to me, as it brings recognition of the things of life. Nice. Water is the theme and kids the catalyst for the action. Lol.

On target with the joys of the young and the springtime melts. How they feed
the unborn plants and present puddles that seem to call to us for
