Of course I'm just picking one thing out here, but I think men are listening to woman more. Especially the younger ones. The older ones in my age group are still hopeless.

I think you are correct that men today are better listeners than before.
I was just using stereotypes in order to make fun of them. This was truly all in good fun.

And may I say that Freud was a nut! This is most amusing and hits male/female relationships pretty solid in some areas. Strangely, what makes it work is that while one is doing their "Hyde" self, the other is in the "Jekyll stage", then they switch to vice versa. Great read!

your pencil. This almost reads like a legal document, or perhaps
the lab notes of a scientist's experiment.
A monumental effort on an an insolvable puzzle, well executed.

The writer does a good job of breaking down the point of view being expressed here. The writer gives a list for the males and females to support statement. When lists are giving, this gives the reader more incentive and motivational to continue reading. Nice job.

This was awesome! I loved every word of this very well written piece. If this is what you write like when suffering from sleep-deprivation, then I'd love to read something when you've had the full eight or nine hours. Superb job with this. I detected no SPAGs and found it not only entertaining, but humorous and witty.

Nice write. I have to say that I am on Carl Jung's team. Love the inclusion of the Chris Rock quote. The 'what if' premise is immediatly interesting, and draws the reader into the piece. All the traits listed (both male and female) are immediately recognisable. God forbid if all these 'qualities' existed in every individual. Maybe you should offer them the opportunity to tick the appropriate boxes. They could then submit the completed questionnaire to suicidemating.com, and find their perfect match:D. Cheers -DJ

As I said in my author's notes, this piece is the end result of a sleep deprived brain. It is amazing what thoughts will spring to mind under these conditions.

I carefully went through your list of dysfunctions and was pleased to note that I pretty much have all of them on both sides of the fence. Way I see it they must cancel each other out because I don't consider myself dysfunctional in the least. Dysfunctional is for other people.
I think it's a wonderful idea to put out the DCV with the ugliest photograph -- preferably not one's own. It's always best to put your worst foot forward in the initial stages of a possible relationship for the simple reason it weeds out the chicken shits and things can only improve after that.
Great satire and I'm looking forward to your next post!

Well, I think CVs such as this would certainly assure bypassing the bullshit phase and getting on with the reality portion of the encounter.
Never occurred to me to add the ugliest photo; nice touch.
I'm glad you liked my sleep deprived piece. I didn't realize insomnia could produce such crap on a grand scale.
I do agree that if one finds they can relate to both lists of dysfunctions, that each does cancel the other out. I consider myself completely canceled.

I am so glad that you truly 'get' what my writing is about. You are spot on when you say it is not a matter of which side of the topic one is on. I try to suspend bias and just have fun with these satirical pieces. They are all exaggerated and over the top, just meant to get a laugh.
God knows there is enough seriousness to go around on any given subject, so my aim is to basically be the court jester and provide some entertainment to the masses.
I always love hearing from you. I know you were and are a Bombeck fan, so you get satire. Trust me there are many who do not and they all seem to find me on here.
