This is an educational short poem. I had not heard of a clerihew before. Now I am wondering if it would be fun to try. I would suggest putting a comma after the word 'rare' in the third line, since you have two independent clauses there. Thanks for sharing!

I wonder if the loss of his front teeth was part of his dare-devil persona. =) Just the same, you deserve credit for writing a Clerihew which seems quite complicated. Well done.

-Nice artwork and presentation.
-Your notes are appreciated.
-I haven't seen a clerihew on FS in a long time.
-You did a good job with the form and player.
-Effective imagery and rhyme.
-I am not a fan of hockey, but you
do a good job showcasing Bobby Hull.
-I like your closing couplet showing
his ability in this sport, but it also
takes its toll on the players body.
-Very well done, teafor2.

Many hockey players have lost their teeth in the game. This is a wonderful style you've chosen to craft this piece in. Thank you for sharing your talent, my friend.
God bless,
Steve

This was short and fun and enjoyable! Again a completely new for of poetry I've not heard of as I'm so new to the poetry world and this platform. I like the rhyming, the imagery, the story. Well done!

I have never heard of Bobby Hull (but I am neither Canadian nor an ice hocky fan!). But, after reading the criteria for a Clerihew, I see that this poem fits the bill perfectly. The last line is hilarious!

Thank you so much for the authors note that provided understanding as to what you were writing. He did an excellent job and picked a great picture for the poking fun at Bobby Hull. Your poem had an excellent flow and a concise storyline to tell. And we feel sorry for him.

I know nothing of the player you speak of. Of course, I'm not American. I get the humor in him losing his front teeth (I thought they wore a mouth-guard? Ice-hockey is a rough sport, fast and furious chasing that small puck. Well done. K xx

This is a new form of poetry for me--thank you for sharing it. It's quite interesting and you have provided a good example of what it should look like. As a hockey fan, I enjoyed it. One suggestion: I love your colorful presentation, but the font size and color are a bit hard to read. Well done!

The cherihew is a form I was unfamiliar with. I revered Bobby Hull when he played for the Chicago Black Hawks. Indeed he had rare skills, but I never thought about his missing front teeth. Rod
