Hi Jaq

This is so good. Wasn't Ham also the Boar and the Pig LOL
Have you ever seen the Ricky Gervias show called Science. He got a book on Noah and the Ark when he went to Sunday School and it was a sort of mickey take of the picture of the giraffes taking up all the space on the ark. At the back of the queue was the elephants and two crows. He said if there was little space when the giraffes were on there can you imagine when those fat gits got on LOL

Fantastic poem

Blessings

Spike

A wonderful ABC poem you have composed reflecting Noah's ark and the animals he saved in order to reproduce more after the flood.

GL in the contest

Hi Jaq! I'm trying out a new formatting for reviewing. Hope it's not too confusing:-)

- Really liked this piece.
- Endless nights to get through... Great wording... Really showed us how cooped up they were.
- Loved the Jackals having dread, they knew they wouldn't make it on board... LOL!!!
- Learning a lot of new stuff here. I never even knew Noah had a son.
- It's really clever what you did with "ham" and "the slice of bread."
- You used the ABC form really well- liked that you wrote who stanzas.
- Rhyme scheme was just fantastic- aaabb, from what I know, in both stanzas. So catchy and flows well when read:-)
- Also loved the artwork:-)
- Overall, well done!!:-)
Love Shenel:D x

Hi Jaq, keep going down the alphabet and you've got an ABCderian!? Well done, very creative, great overall presentation, a very harmonious page with image and color palette choice!! I liked the rhyming stanzas concept.

I'd think about changing 'they'd no bed' to 'they had no bed', it sort of feels better to me but..?

Never doubt your creativity Jaq, it's in there to be released as you've indicated with this effort. Good luck in the contest. Blessings and many regards, Garth

Well, this is a different take on Noah's ark...very interesting for sure. I'm not a poet but this reads and feels like a poem so I'd say you've got it made. God loves you and so do I.

A cute ABC poem about Noah and the ark, and a good entry for the contest. Good rhyme and meter.

this is very wel lwritten, jaq cee, you did an excellent job writing this abc poem about Noah's ark, i enjoyed reading it. we were told a riddle at church yesterday that stumped one of our deacons when he was in the hospital.

What bible character was born without a soul, received a soul, lost a soul but doesn't live in Heaven or hell?

the whale that swallowed Jonah.

good luck in the contest

It makes a change, Ham deciding on the sliced bread! Very good. The versification is nice and even and unforced. Why stop at "J"? Why not go on?
