Excellent

It's an extremely well-written ballad-metre poem, celebrating the moment when love (or lust!) strikes. The first four stanzas are perfect - the meaning flows elegantly and easily through the rhyme and eight-six rhythm. As for the last two stanzas, The "beat" is ever so slightly off, but thei may well be a deliberate effect, to show that something is happening (I mean, they're not going to stand gawping at each other all night, are they?)

Hi Jackie hope you are well:) This piece is excellent really deserving of a six but the powers at hand will not allow me to give it what it is due:) This being said isn't this what we all wish for? Someone that we can cherish and will feel the same about us. I have pretty much given up on this, I have had my chances and yet managed to squander them away. About the dance I am not much of a dancer but would make exception for you:) Life has taught me that sometimes you need to suck it up and do things for others at times. Actually I would be more concerned that I would embarass you I pretty much do my own thing. Take care my friend and have a wonderful day:) Mark

This was a beautiful poem of two finding each other, and I really did enjoy it, but the last line threw me a little, so I have a question: Why would someone want their "hopeless fears" healed? Wouldn't it be better for them to be destroyed?

that's a great song.

I confess, I'm not big into love poems because usually they are overrated, but I didn't feel that with this poem. I think that's the best compliment of all!

I loved the second to last stanza, for some reason that impressed me as the strongest. Not that it actually is the strongest, it's just the one I liked :)
