A very touching poem that makes a person want to cry. I like the last line, 'God bless the little ones'. Good sequence of rhyme. I always pray that all my descendants will live long lives. florrie

I love the picture. I love the poem. My muse aunts me at night too. I get the greatest ideas in my sleep. Yes, God bless the little ones. I hate it when new life is taken. They should have a childhood. Let every one love and tend to the little ones. Great work.

This is so incredibly sad and with the school shootings this is very timely. It also made me think of all the children who were aborted. This is well written with good use of alliteration and consonance. Good luck to you.

This is beautifully written. It's sad to think of all the children who never have the chance to become adults and grace this world with their presence. But for some, I'm thinking that for their sakes, it might better, only if they can't exist outside of a hospital bed, hooked up to machines that are keeping them alive. And though it takes a toll on their loved ones, maybe in the long run, they'll find comfort in knowing their child id at piece. I say that not out of disrespect, but respect for the child who is suffering. Having expressed this, I go back to your poem, and congratulate you on your poetic talent. You have put together a well conceived, and compelling piece, with great rhyming, and rhythm. deb
