Hello Jaq

Well I am back reviewing, after my workload went haywire, at last and it looks as though it will take all day. I have had some notices deleted. So let me kow if I have missed anything.

I love this poem Jaq. I have Phobophobia, which is a fear of phobias so I could not have written anything about it LOL. I watched QI and Alan Davies mentioned a great website called phobialist.com that tells you what every phobia is called. After my Christmas I think I'm getting Syngenesophobia a Fear of relatives LOL or Anglophobia a fear of English or anything English, so I will have to start talking and writing in Welsh LOL.

Blessings

Spike

A good phrase to always remember is one by President Roosevelt. The only fear to fear, is fear itself. I enjoyed reading your well written piece of poetic art. It was a very enjoyable posting... John

Good job on this subject. It is a real and terrifying thing ,agoraphobia. I have had borderline moments myself. I never had a full fledged attack, but I have other fears that strike into me. Good luck.

I love the picture. I love the poem. I would think this disease affects people this way. Overwhelming fear is a bad thing to run your life. I wish the best for any one who suffers this. Great work.

While this was a nicely written piece which flowed well and had nice structure, I'm not sure the fear came across as well as one would have liked it. Good choice of pic for the write. To me, orange is a cheerful color. Perhaps that is it! I do wish you luck in the contest. : ) Blessings!

My sister has agoraphobia and she is terribly house-bound and terrified of crowds. She is essentially, creating her own prison and severely limiting her life. It is so sad. Your poem does a good job of describing the affliction. Best of luck in the contest.

I had to squint big time to read that blue on orange - not reader friendly to folks with 60 year old eyes LOL
great consonance of D sounds in hide behind drapes drawn/doors bolted
strong occasional rhymes
good alliteration in break free from bonds of fear
an intense look at fear

This is a great entry, but very difficult to see
the writing. It is quite blurred. Try changing
the color so it is clearer.
Yes, it's a big wide world out there, not too
pleasant for people suffering from agroraphobia.
I have a few friends who dare not tread outside
their homes for years.
Great entry.
Best of luck in the contest.
